When can I visit Sacred Grove?

Participants and volunteers are welcome at Sacred Grove during retreats/ events. Volunteers are also welcome during monthly seva (volunteering) days. 

Where can I stay while I visit Sacred Grove? 

Hotels in Graham are within a 20-minute drive of Sacred Grove. Short-term vacation rentals, camping, and RV options are also in and around Graham. Visit Graham Texas is a good resource for accommodation options. 

Are meals provided/included?

During retreats and events, our 100% volunteer-led kitchen provides fresh and flavorful vegetarian meals inspired by worldwide cuisines.

What is appropriate attire?

We recommend simple and comfortable clothing. Shoes are removed when entering a few buildings, such as the meditation hall, yoga hall, and Babaji’s grotto. Many paths are gravel or earth – comfortable closed-toe shoes with a rugged sole are recommended.

Are there any items you recommend us to bring? 

We recommend you bring the following items:

  1. Government-issued photo ID

  2. Reusable water bottles (hydration is essential. Carry a bottle that you can carry with you throughout the day)

  3. Reusable to-go container (if you need to take meals to-go)

  4. Reusable shopping bag (to carry things around campus)

  5. Flashlight

  6. Comfortable Closed-toe shoes

  7. Comfortable clothing

  8. Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, and other sun protection

  9. Mosquito repellent

  10. Umbrella or Raincoat

Are there sufficient parking spaces and charging stations for electric vehicles?

Limited parking space is available, so we recommend carpooling from your accommodation to Sacred Grove. Please park in the main parking area (to your right as you enter Sacred Grove). The parking area is a short leisurely walk (about 10 minutes) to the main facilities. We will happily arrange a shuttle service for those who may find the walk difficult or have special needs. 

Do you have charging stations for electric vehicles?

EV chargers are available at the main parking lot. They are available for a fee on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact the book store for payment. 

Can I bring my children? 

Anyone 16 years and older can volunteer at Sacred Grove. Anyone 10 years and older can attend the program with at least one parent or guardian. There is no age stipulation for anyone coming for public pranam.

Is the Sacred Grove accessible for wheelchair users or individuals with mobility challenges?

The retreats and events aim to provide a fulfilling experience to all attendees. The tranquil grounds of Sacred Grove are walkable and accessible. Most buildings in the center, including the meditation, yoga, and dining hall, are ADA-compliant. To ensure easy access between the parking lot and the main campus, we offer free shuttles for those in wheelchairs or with mobility issues.

Are pets allowed on campus?

Pets are not allowed in the center, including service/support animals. (confirm with Naresh ji -)

Do you provide Internet connectivity?

Blossom Foundation does not provide internet connectivity.

Is there cellular coverage on campus? 

Verizon and AT&T have spotty coverage; other providers could be more reliable. To maintain the sanctity and decorum of Sacred Grove, please keep cell phone use to the minimum for urgent calls only when on campus and use the parking lot or area behind the dining hall. We request you keep your cell phones switched off or in silent mode in designated areas such as the Grotto, Meditation / Yoga Halls, Blossom Ponds, etc. Kindly keep your cell phone switched off during the sessions with Sri M. 

Are there items that are not allowed?

  1. Smoking or oral tobacco products, electronic cigarettes, and other similar devices of any kind are not allowed on the campus.

  2. Alcohol is not allowed.

  3. Firearms are not allowed.

  4. Drugs are not allowed.

  5. Meat is not allowed.

Is the center open year-round for visitors?

The center is open during retreats and events. It is also open for volunteering once a month and as and when opportunities arise.

Additionally, the center is open year-round for in-person yoga classes. Visit Blossom Yoga Center to learn more about yoga classes and class passes.
